Chef Mathew, a native of Mumbai, India is a graduate of the prestigious Culina...ry Institute with a great passion for cooking. He is among the new breed of Indian Chefs who are highly educated, professionally trained & who have chosen the hospitality Industry as their profession.
Chef Mathew has worked in the best kitchens in India and abroad for more than 10 years and gained valuable experience. He also trained under the esteemed Master Chef Ustad Durga Prasad & Chef Alex in the art & crafts of Indian cuisine.
He is very meticulous and fastidious & only uses the premium quality ingredients & whole spices which are roasted and ground fresh daily to prepare every dish.
Our name is derived from ‘Amla’ or Amalaki, the Indian Gooseberry is a native fruit of India which grows in the tropical subcontinent. All parts of the plant; flowers, fruit, seed, leaves, root and bark are used in various Ayurvedic herbal preparations.
